Peg Pockets & Peg Inserts

Either a “Peg Pocket” or a “Peg Insert” is added to the back side of all cribbage boards.

A Peg Pocket is a cut-out for holding the pegs in storage when not in use. The lid to the pocket is held in place using small imbedded magnets. No sliding wooden slats that will bind or fall out with the change in humidity. A peg pocket is used is all 4-lane cribbage boards and some 2-lance boards.

A Peg Insert is also a cut-out, but the pegs are held directly by a small magnet. It does not use a pocket with a separate lid. A peg insert is used primarily on 2-lane cribbage boards.
